Today went good I would say! I woke up early this time, at like 8am. I did wake up from another nightmare though so that wasn't the best start to the morning :-P. But other than that I had a nice day - I had 3 consistant meals during the day like I should! I had a bagel with vegan cream cheese for breakfast, then I made this really yummy teryaki sauce with rice and tofu for lunch.
Here's the recipe for the sauce I made:
- 1 Tbsp cornstarch + 2 Tbsp water
- ½ cup low-sodium soy sauce - I usually use less than this otherwise it's way way too salty for me X-P
- ½ cup water
- 1 Tbsp rice vinegar
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- 1 Tbsp light brown sugar - optional imo otherwise it's too sweet
- ½ tsp dried ginger - it says dried but fresh or frozen works too!
- garlic powder to taste - (the site has WAY too little as usual, people who make recipes are so scared of garlic for whatever reason...)

Tomorrow is my birthday, eeek! I still don't know what to do for it O_O; I don't like being spontaneous very much unless it's something that I was already thinking about doing before I suppose. My mom said to just let the day unfold itself as it goes on, I guess I shall try my best to do so! Some things I'm hoping for:
